So I came to this blog out of vvvv lot of boredom, and just realised that Alicia posted something earlier this year! (LMAOO) Heheh, so here's an attempt to revive our crazily dead blog:)
Anyway, it's 26MAY, which is also the date where we officially became a guide 2 years ago!

Ahh, can't believe time actually passes this fast. Like literally 一转眼, 已经是 sec 3 了! A little scary, isn't it? :O Sec3's like so much more hectic, compared to sec2! Sec2 at least still can run around and watch videos everyday, but then now it's like WORK WORK WORKKK O LEVELS! So stressful! I wouldn't mind going back to sec2 ahaha~~ But it's finally the June hols whoo! I've been waiting for this day to arrive like 2932894912 million years ago D: (okay fine, hyperbole xxxxx293912 here:P) << another one! Can finally at least relax abit man. Happy holidays ahead!:D
Woah anyway, visited the old/new site yesterday! Should it be called the old or new site? I'm pretty confused haha. Anw, totally gonna miss the tpy holding site D: All those memories... It's kinda sad, isn't it! All our camps recesses and all. But the amk one looks quite cool la, I got to admit:) I'm looking forward to the biometric thing though it's quite mafan HAHAHAH ;D And yay! 1h long recesses! Super looking forward to that hehe 8) Then can pedo on p1-3 meimei mens. AHAHA jkjk!
Okay omg, 3.54 alreadyy. Guess i've gotta go and revise for chinese prelims on monday DDD: Good luck everyone if you manage to see this post before the prelims~~

A new year, a new beginning

HOW ARE YOU? :) Been a really really reallyyyy long time since this blog sees a new post. 4 months maybe? So yeap, shall give it some live now :) Rusty though..cos i have no idea what to type. Haha. And some says that blogging helps to improve your english? Lol, trying to improve it too :P
So..let's say goodbye to 2011 and say helloooooo to 2012. 2011 has been a rather great year. Don't you guys think that time passed (more of zommed) really fast? It feels like we've been living in fast-forward, another moment passing by~ And now look at us... we are already in upper sec. D: How are you guys adapting to your new class? Yay or nay? Hope it's a yay :) Btw, HAPPY BELATED NEW YEAR! Lol, posting it after 21days. But yea, HBNY! :) Let's forget bout the past, and embrace our future. Like what the master Oogway (from kongfu panda. I've got no idea why turtle in chinese is spelled like this, but this is what I got when i wiki-ed it) yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift, that's why it's called the present :) So yeap, don't worry too much bout the past or the future. Live life in the present :)
Anyone looking forward to 2012? Though most of us would be having ChiOs this year :O Oh noooo... Good luck in advance :) Andand, doomsday this year. Haha. I've got an idea, shall we all have a cohort outing after 23dec and watch the movie '2012' together? :) A rather perfect way to celebrate that we actually survived through 22/12/12. ;)
Chinese New Year is on it's way! :) Excited? ;) Today is the time where you gather as a ONEBIGFAMILY, sit down, catch up with one another and have a meal together. While tomorrow is the day where children go around, hunting for adults, asking for hongbaos while adults try to escape from giving hongbaos. LOL. And not to forget all the FOODFOODFOOOHUUUUUD! Reckon I'm gonna gain loads these few days..but CNY only happens once a year. So why not just pamper yourself and eat! :) Haha.
Oh..had CNY celebration yesterday. Think most of us just spent the time either camwhoring or going around, peeling mandarin oranges and trying everybody's oranges, debating who got the best oranges. Well...I can say that i think i brought the worst oranges :\ It wasn't juicy at all (half dried?) and was sour and bitter..Yea, can you imagine that? Was horrible :( After the celebration, we got a potong, red bean ice-cream each. But...WHERE'S OUR ONE DAY HOLIDAYYYY? I want my holiday! I protest! >:(
And, we're gonna get new sec ones next week! Looking forward! Hehe. Those cute lil' ones..Anyone buying them any gifts? Haha. Got no idea what to give though. :\ Shall i just give them a welcome hug? Or would they just freaky out by that? :O LOL. Wonder how the sec ones in my patrol looks like...

Here are more details on the Fusion Dance :)
The objectives of the competition are:
- to understand the importance of the different multicultural backgrounds that unite Guides internationally
- to create opportunities for Guides to work in groups as they learn about music, tempo, rhythm, beat, poise, balance and coordination.
The dance should incorporate and reflect a fusion of dances from any country in the Guiding world. There should be at least fusion of 2 dances: local and international dance steps. Marks will be awarded for originality, suitability, creativity and emotional attachment to the cultural flavor selected in presenting the multi-cultural aspect of the selection of music as well as choreography. The dance should not be more than 5 minutes. A synopsis should be submitted with the application form.
So guys, think about your choreographing and the synopsis that goes along with it! :)

Basically for Fusion Dance, you have to choreograph a dance routine of a combination of different cultures and religion.
We'll be split into our coys, if you hadn't heard yet. For all those who don't know who's in what coy:

Competition details:
Date: Saturday, 10 September (during Sept hols)

If you are about to back out, please let either me or Serene know by Sunday morning (7 Aug)! Otherwise there wouldn't be any more back-out requests accepted once our names are submitted.
Btw, Yifen asks if we would like to participate in the teachers day performance? As in, we'd perform our fusion dance item. So are you guys up for it? We have a week to answer her!

If you are about to back out, please let either me or Serene know by Sunday morning (7 Aug)! Otherwise there wouldn't be any more back-out requests accepted once our names are submitted.
Btw, Yifen asks if we would like to participate in the teachers day performance? As in, we'd perform our fusion dance item. So are you guys up for it? We have a week to answer her!
